400 meters from Hotel La Canela, one can find a swimmable natural pool called Charca la Nieta, fed by the Nuño Cojo Creek – a focal point for water lovers during the summer. Right next to it, there is Charca La Abuela, a shallow pool, suitable for small children.
Hiking tracks along the creek offer beautiful walks to enjoy the murmuring of the water and the mountain-scape, marked by large moss-covered boulders.
